Landline phone systems will be switched off from October 2025. Going forward your only option will be to use broadband to make calls.

Traditional landlines will be switched off in 2025 and replaced with a digital network. This means Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN), which uses copper cables to bring the connection to your home and business, will no longer be available.
